Update - Fitness

So I've been gaining weight again.  I'm back up to 174.8...ARGHARAAHRAGAHRGAHRGAAAHH!!!  Oh well, what did I expect?  I've only been keeping track for about a week.  I just hate going back up, it' makes me think I'll never get out of this 10 pound range and I'll be stuck in this cycle forever.  I know I have to keep working on it, but I'm the type to get discouraged and give up after one set back.  Well, I'm going to really ristrict today, only fruit, veggies, and coffee.  I know now that I can't buy crackers either.  Stick to the plants. 

I'm also going to work out for at least one hour.  Run, bike, weights, and I think I'll also force myself to do the elliptical too.  Maybe I'll shoot for two hours.  I don't know, but I'm not giving up.  I am noticing a change in the flabbiness of my body, so that's better in the long run.  It's crazy how numbers obsessed I get when I should be worried about performance.  I want to look like a runner or dancer; long and lean. 

Today we have fitness thinspo to help me remember what I'm working towards.  I want to be healthy and strong, because to me that is sexy.

Update - Blake Lively

I weighed 173.8 this morning boo!  I think it was the salty crackers :(  Oh well I'll just have to work out hard tonight to make up for it, and I'm still under 175 so I'm still in the running for my first reward.  I've already noticed little changes in my body, mostly in my arm and that bit of butt that hangs out from the side of your underwear (you all know what I'm talking about!).  So that's good.  No real measurement changes yet, but It hasn't been a week yet, so I'm not really surprised.  I'll update later with how my eating goes, stay strong beauties!

Today we have Blake Lively.  She may not be the best actress in the world (though she does do a great job with snobby exasperation) but DAMN can this girl dress!  She also has legs and hair for miles, which I love.  YAY tall girls!

Update - Audrey Hepburn

Hello lovelies!  I'd like to start with a shout out to my first follower, thank you so much for following me!  You are awesomesauce.  FO SHO. 

Secondly, I weighed myself this morning and I was 171.6!  WOO!!!!  Only 1.6lbs away from my next goal.  That's awesome.  However I have a confession.  I am at the point where I tend to give up.  I lose about 10lbs then start to get into the mindset of "oh, you've been doing so well, you don't need to work out" "You've lost 10lbs, you can eat that ice cream/coke/mcdonalds" "you worked out yesterday, take a break and play some video games".  I do this back and forth and back and forth, gaining and losing those same 10lbs.  Well.  Not this time!  I am going to prevail.  I have you lovelies on my blog to motivate me, and I will look awesome in the next few months.

Update:  So far I've done pretty much awesome.  I've eaten a banana (105), a peach (38), an apple (95), a cup of coffee (5), and miso soup (60).  Can you tell I like fruit lol.  I did break and I bought food from the vending machine, but instead of my usual pop tarts (430!) I got pretzels instead (160 much better but still not great).  So my total is 458.  I've also drank over 2 liters of water which is really awesome.  I'm going to exercise and I'm hoping to not go over 300 or so tonight.  700 seems to be my goal, even though I'm usually closer to 800 or 900 :( 

Dinner was rather high calorie.  I ate 3 servings of crackers for 390 calories with around 2 servings of hummus for 100 calories.  I also had 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (80), 1/2 cup of blueberries (42) and 1/2 cup of raspberries (32).  My total intake was 1132 which is too high boo.  Why do crackers have to have so many calories!  I watched Black Swan tonight so I got motivated to work out lol.  I ran/walked 25 minutes and then lifted for 20.  I have noticed my stamina is getting a little better, so that's awesome.  

Today's thinspo is the lovely Audrey Hepburn.  I really love her so much.  My favorite movies of hers are My Fair Lady, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and Roman Holiday (#1 favorite).  She is so lovely and classy and SKINNY MINI!  I love her straight across eyebrows (is that weird?  I have straight eyebrows too, so I can relate) and her long swan neck.  






Oh how I LOVE this photo!  She looks so intense and sexy.

Update - Amanda Seyfried

Weight this morning was 172.4, so no change.  I guess that's to be expected considering I had binges on Saturday and Sunday night.  Well I'll be back on track today.  So far I've eaten a banana (105cal), an apple (95cal), an orange (70cal), some soup (around 150cal), and a cup of coffee (5cal).  So total is 420cal.  For dinner I'm going to either make a salad or some lentil soup.  Not sure yet, we'll see, I'll post an update tonight!  Stay strong beautiful ones!

Update:  I rocked out with my cock out today (excuse my french lol).  When I got home I did eat quite a bit, but it was all food under 60cal.  I had 5 rice cakes (75cal), some honey (around 60cal), about 1/4 cup egg salad (50cal), and a popsicle (30cal).  The total for today is 670 calories.

I worked out a ton today.  I ran/walked 2 miles, lifted for around 20 minutes, then rode on the stationary bike for 20 minutes.  I burned around 778 calories.  WOO HOO I rock!

Today's thinspo is Amanda Seyfried, she's so lovely!  I love her big blue eyes, she looks so innocent (well, maybe no in those Esquire pictures).

Update - Emily Browning

Hello everyone.  I weighed myself today and I was at 172.4 which is less so I'll take it.  I had a mini binge last night, but it totaled up to only about 300cal.  I had 6 strawberries, 4 rice cakes, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, and some hummus.  So they were healthy foods, but still it was 300 calories I didn't need.  I will do better today.  I am really sore from working out so I'm going to just do a yoga dvd to stretch.  I've never done this one before, so it will be an adventure.  I have to work tomorrow so I'm going to bed early which will help me not binge before bed, which is a bad habit I have.  I will update later, love you all!

Update: I have to admit, I binged a bit.  I ate about 750 calories but then I came home and ate the rest of my rice cakes, some honey, and a peach.  I had 3 lattes too, which is 2 too many!  My tummy in in revolt, I will do better tomorrow :(  

The thinspo for today is the lovely Emily Browning.  She was first in A Series of Unfortunate Events and has also been in The Uninvited which is a remake of one of my favorite horror films, A Tale of Two Sisters.  Most recently she's been in Sucker Punch which is an awesome action thinspo movie.

Update - Ballet

I weighed myself today and I was at 172.8!  YAY!  Now if I can stay below 175 for a week I'll be able to buy my first reward, a teeth whitening kit.  I'm so excited for this, I totally can do this.  

Today I plan on cleaning my apartment and also organizing some stuff for the move.  I'm thinking my dresser and my bathroom cabinets.  I think I might skip lunch and just get a latte from Starbucks.  

Update:  Today I've been awesome!  I had a banana for breakfast (105cal), veggie soup for lunch (150cal), a Starbucks snack of a venti skinny vanilla latte (160cal) and dinner was a three rice cakes (45cal) and some home made egg salad (approximately 200cal) for a grand total of 660 calories.  

I ran/walked 1.5 miles today and also weight lifted for 20 minutes.  My arms are super sore, so I will probably just do cardio tomorrow.  I also cleaned the house for about 2 hours for a total of 859 calories burned, which is 199cal more than I ate.  YAY ME!

Update - Zhang Ziyi

Hello my lovelies!  I am coming at you with another update.  I weighed myself this morning and I was at 176.4 so that's great, but I'm not putting a lot of stock in this weight loss because I'm coming off my "lady time" and I always drop about 5 lbs.  I drank senna tea last night (Traditional Medicine smooth move tea) and right now I'm feeling a little funky, but nowhere near as bad as a salt water flush.  Now those are rough. 

I have a training seminar at work today and lunch will be provided, but it's usually nasty sandwiches so I'll make due with the salad.  I'm hoping there will be some fruit as well.  I'll try and eat some of my veggie soup before hand so I'm not as tempted.  I'll post an update after work!

Update: I did pretty well at work.  I ate about a cup of fruit salad (70cal), 1/3 cup of pasta salad (100cal) and 1/2 a sandwich that was around 370cal.  After work I felt like I was getting a headache so I got a latte which I discovered has more calories than I thought but still not that many (130cal).  Dinner was my invented salsa of a tomato, 1/2 an avocado, some onion, lime juice, and chopped cilantro.  Instead of chips I used slices of cucumber for around 170cal.  My total for the day was 950 calories, so YAY ME!  

I'm watching an episodes of Skins but after that I plan on running or doing the elliptical and then some weight lifting.  I really need to tone up, so I plan on burning my arms up bad.

Update2: OMG I ROCKED IT OUT at the gym!  I started with 20 minutes on the treadmill running and walking.  Then I did 20 minutes doing weights for my arms.  And finally I did 20 very hard minutes on the bike.  Then I came back to my apartment and did crunches/stretches for 45 minutes (while watching Skins).  I calculated approximately 800 calories burned!  That's almost all I've eaten today, and when you count in my basic living calorie burns I have to be over what I've eaten.  DOUBLE YAY ME!

And now for my thinspo of the day.  One of my favorite actresses of all time, Zhang Ziyi.  She was in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon,  Memoirs of a Geisha, Hero, and House of Flying Daggers.  She's so beautiful, I love her!

Update - Dita Von Teese

Hello my lovelies!  I'm posting this now and I'll probably update my update later tonight.

So far I've been doing really well.  Breakfast was a piece of bread (80 cal) then I started to get a migraine so I got a latte from Caribou Coffee (the caffeine helps a lot with head aches).  I got a medium vanilla northern lite for 50 cal.  Lunch is home made veggie soup, so I'm not exactly sure about the calorie count.  It has vegetarian stock and mushroom, onion, celery, carrots, broccoli, and zucchini.  I'm guessing two cups are about 150 cal.  So my total so far is 280.  I have an apple and orange for snacks but I'm not sure what I'm going to do about dinner.  That seems to be my greatest time for binging, so I've really got to figure out how to control myself better.

Seriously, could she be any more beautiful!?!  That is the body type I want!  She's curvy but still small and sexy as hell.  

Update:  So I did really well!  At work I ate an apple (95cal) and had a cup of tea.  Then at home I ate a banana with some honey (181cal).  I did eat one pizza slice but only one is really good for me (230cal).  I now have no pizza in my house to tempt me!  I also cooked 1/2c rice (115cal) for a grand total of 901cal.  

On the exercise front I did 20 minutes on the elliptical which burned about 310cal and according to my pedometer I've burned another  110cal for a grand total of 420cal.  

I also calculated my daily calorie expenditure at 1940cal.  This is how many I burn just walking around and living my daily life.  So all in all I cam out in the positive with more calories burned than taken in.

I'm really worried about this weekend though, because when I'm bored I tend to eat.  I'm going to clean a lot this weekend to try and take my mind off of it.  I will make it through!  I'm determined to have a sexy Halloween costume!  WOO!  Good luck to the rest of my lovelies!
